Nothing is truly bulletproof. But John Wick sure does make a bullet resistant suit look good in movies. So we set out to build the most realistic, comfortable suit jacket and vest we possibly could - and it took almost a year of testing to get the right material for it!
We tried special sci-fi composites, materials that harden under impact, and many many other variations. But nothing was as effective as layers of Kevlar stacked at 45 degree angles to create a tight highly bullet resistant weave.
The bulletproof suit was not only able to stop 9mm rounds (common pistol rounds) but even 45 caliber rounds from an automatic rifle!
